Way back when (1988)...
...a few folks saw the need to provide after school activities for kids. By the next year, enrollment increased from 40 to over 400! What to do?
"inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens."
The determined group became a chartered BGCA Club. Bring in proven programs that work, and slowly the little Club that could changed from an athletics-only site to an after-school academics, environmental stewardship, digital arts, multi-media fine arts and athletics Clubhouse (WOW). Today we serve over 4500 kids peninsula wide!
